Earners have completed the 3-day intensive MATE Bystander Train the Trainer program. They have a full understanding of topics covered on the prevention of gender-based violence. Earners have explored in depth, the issues of racism, discrimination, bullying & harassment in the workplace & community. Earners have been assessed & accredited to facilitate workshops for peers/colleagues/students in their organisation. Earners are passionate advocates for change.

Earning Criteria

Completion of MATE Train the Trainer workshop

Completion of subsequent refresher training every 12 months

Earners are rigorously assessed on their ability to facilitate MATE content and learning activities. This includes tasks such as the design and delivery of a simulated workshop, preparation and planning of an interactive activity and the materials used during their workshop presentation. Earners received formative and summative feedback throughout the workshop and on completion. Earners have successfully completed their face-to-face assessments and received their accreditation.
