Earners of the Mentoring badge have demonstrated high level leadership and professional skills through the delivery of peer-to-peer mentoring programs and events which support and enhance the student experience at Griffith. Griffith Mentors have exemplified student leadership skills and are significant and valued members of our campus communities. They have participated in skills training and opportunities which have enabled them to demonstrate Griffith Graduate Attributes.

Earning Criteria

Earners have acted as a Student Mentor Volunteer. Student mentors assist less experienced students develop their capabilities and provide peer support. Student mentors share their knowledge, skills and experience.

Earners have completed the Central Mentor Training Program. This training builds skills and understanding around Griffith support services and provides robust training in facilitating groups, cultural diversity, communication, online mentoring, interpersonal skills, academic integrity, consent, inclusiveness and disability awareness.

Earners have been nominated by the Mentoring Program Coordinator through the Reward and Recognition campaign
