They can identify the key characteristics of effective community engagement and benefit sharing strategies that support best-practice outcomes. They can apply these strategies to meet the needs of unique social contexts and can analyse how a developer’s approach may impact on social license to operate.

Earners have attended at least 6 out 8 online classes (12 hours)

Earners have submitted two 500-word case studies that analyse community engagement and/or benefit sharing approaches in two different contexts, and identify how they have enhanced or eroded social license to operate.

Earners have submitted a 500-word reflection piece outlining two key ideas or tangible strategies presented during the course, and how these could be applied to the participants’ future personal and/or professional initiatives

Earners have participated in a follow-up forum 3 months after completion, to share insights into how the course may have influenced practice (not assessed).
