Earners of the STEM PROFESSIONALS – Planning credential have participated in an employability-based program designed to create strong connections between university work, life experiences and future career. Earners understand the need to engage in ongoing career-development learning. Earners have completed achievable tasks and activities in the broad student-lifecycle stages offered in curricular or extra-curricular formats. Earners have some activities embedded in the degree program.

Earning Criteria

Earners have enrolled in and worked through the STEM PROFESSIONALS program at their own pace to develop a professional portfolio of their experiences

Students must complete all the requirements for the Gold PLUS level of PLUS. Gold Level encompasses 240 ‘points’ of activity with relevant reflections and evidence.

Development of a learning or showcase portfolio to demonstrate the student’s achievements aligned with expectations of the planning industry.

Evidence of attainment is kept within a PebblePad Workbook, completion of Gold PLUS is verified by the Griffith Sciences Learning & Teaching Consultant (Employability) and approved by the Sciences Dean (Learning & Teaching).
