Earners of the STEM PROFESSIONALS – Planning credential have participated in an employability-based program designed to create strong connections between university work, life experiences and future career. Earners understand the need to engage in ongoing career-development learning. Earners have completed achievable tasks and activities in the broad student-lifecycle stages offered in curricular or extra-curricular formats. Earners have some activities embedded in the degree program.

Earning Criteria

  • Earners have enrolled in and worked through the STEM PROFESSIONALS program at their own pace to develop a professional portfolio of their experiences
  • Students must complete all the requirements for the Gold PLUS level of PLUS. Gold Level encompasses 240 ‘points’ of activity with relevant reflections and evidence.
  • Development of a learning or showcase portfolio to demonstrate the student’s achievements aligned with expectations of the planning industry.
  • Evidence of attainment is kept within a PebblePad Workbook, completion of Gold PLUS is verified by the Griffith Sciences Learning & Teaching Consultant (Employability) and approved by the Sciences Dean (Learning & Teaching).
