GSEC
The Graduate School Educated Coach (GSEC) credential is available to graduates of coaching programs that have been rigorously reviewed and found to meet or exceed GSAEC’s Academic Standards. The GSEC credential indicates a professional coach who has been educated according to the most thoroughly researched methods and approaches, and is equipped to perform accordingly. It is the only credential in the coaching field that directly recognizes Scholar-Practitioner status.

Demonstrate successful completion of a graduate-level coaching program at a GSAEC Recognized Institution

In order to retain the GSEC, the credential-holder must be a GSAEC Member in good standing.

In order to retain the GSEC, the credential-holder must recertify every three years with evidence of sufficient continuing education and professional development.
Standards
GSAEC's Academic Standards represent a rigorously aspirational educational environment and curriculum driven directly by emergent research in the coaching and coach education fields. To become a GSAEC Recognized Institution, a program must undergo an extensive review of their curriculum, teaching methodologies, and designated learning outcomes.
