The School of Computing's database management badge is designed to prepare students to master concepts of relational and non-relational databases. The badge enables students to design and create databases, write programs that interact with databases to manage data, tune the performance of relational database management systems, and utilize emerging non-relational databases such as object-oriented, key-value, and XML databases.
