Activity Director badge earners fulfill IDPH and OBRA requirements for working as an Activity Director in long-term care. Outcomes include being able to identify resident rights, describe activity care planning for quality of life, assess factors of human wellness and self-esteem, and explain etiology and symptomology of people who are aged, developmentally disabled, or mentally ill. Students utilize appropriate resident assessment and documentation.
