HBA Hope Program Scholar

HOPE is an accelerated one-year leadership program for HBA Corporate Partners designed to help support and advance the careers of mid- to senior-level, high-potential talent in underrepresented/underestimated groups (i.e., LGBTQ+, women of color, women with ability diversity).The program aims to provide access and opportunity through career coaching, mentoring, networking, professional development, and volunteering. At its core, HOPE focuses on the emotional intelligence leadership (EIL) theory.

Earning Criteria

  • Hold a current membership in the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.
  • Be a mid to senior level leader with experience in the healthcare industry or related services.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to share of oneself — authentically participate in open and honest conversations about one’s professional and personal challenges and triumphs.
  • Participate in mentoring meetings, coaching sessions, and educational webinars to share, connect, and develop one’s own leadership skills and executive mindset.
