Earning Criteria

EHRC applicants are required to submit an online application meeting the following requirements: current CRCR certification designation; five years as a regular HFMA member; letter of recommendation from an industry leader. Plus must select one of four options: Provider- PFC Adopter, Provider- MAP Award or MAP App Subscriber, Business Partner- Peer Reviewed or RC/AC Speaker, or volunteer activity in healthcare finance industry.

Certification Maintenance: HFMA members who have earned the Executive of Healthcare Revenue Cycle (EHRC) designation must maintain continuous active membership to hold the designation. In addition, every three years: Complete 45 hours of eligible education activities every three years. The education activities requirement mandates that continuing education includes a 10-hour minimum of HFMA [national/association], regional or local chapter education.
