Earning Criteria

Apprentice must complete the Maine Department of Labor approved curriculum for this program. Registered Apprenticeships consist of 2000 hours of on-the-job-training (OJT) and 144 hours of related technical instruction (RTI otherwise known as classroom work) for every year of program duration. Additionally, all RTI must be passed with a "C" or above (or Pass/Fail) and OJT competencies must be assessed as proficient by the employer.
