Earners have investigated the legislation in their respective state (or state in which they plan to practice) and created a reference guide to demonstrate a compilation of information regarding their field of practice and any other forms that may be required to bring animals into this work. This guide includes names, links, and reference material related to any forms, policies, or other legal requirements related to their field of practice, working with animals, or species-specific regulations.

Earners will explain how each regulation or law affects their field of practice and their specific application of AAI Earners will also explain the link between each regulation and suggested best practice in their field, their intended therapeutic outcomes, and animal welfare. Additionally, earners will create plans on how they will adhere to each regulation and address challenges that may arise.
