Earning Criteria

Students will be able to recognize that there are different types of information, develop a sound research strategy, and select useful search tools to search them effectively. This will be demonstrated and assessed through a compiled list of five sources relevant to their thesis statement/research question: a book, a peer-reviewed journal article, a magazine article, a news source, and a web source. With each source, the search tool and search strategy used to find it will be explained.
