The “community circle” or simply “circle” is a fundamental concept in restorative practices. Based on indigenous ways of knowing, being and engaging with others, community circles are used to informally address issues of conflict or misconduct from a perspective of restoration. Earners of this badge have participated in three, hour-long community circles that engaged the participants in active community building through Restorative Justice practices.
