Students will be able to recognize the importance of giving credit to sources used in the research process, consult online guides to apply proper mechanics for formulating in-text citations and end-of-paper references, and discern the differences between quoting, paraphrasing, and summarizing. This will be assessed through the creation of a properly formatted bibliography, and an objective assessment where the learner identifies correct examples of quoting, paraphrasing, and summarizing.
