IAIABC Workers' Compensation Mediators' College
This comprehensive program dives into the unique area of workers’ compensation mediation. Participants have the opportunity to learn from an experienced faculty, learn and practice new skills, and share ideas with a cohort of peers engaged in workers’ compensation mediation across the United States. The program consists of live discussion sessions and skills application, self-paced course work, and mock mediations.

Recorded sessions on the topics of: What is Mediation?, Setting Up a Mediation, Ethics, Role as a Mediator, Opening and Closing Statements, Reflective Listening, Remote Mediation, Neuroscience of Conflict, and Dealing with Difficult Parties

Live virtual sessions provided time for questions and skills practice in the areas of: Setting up a mediation and introductions, storytelling, reality testing, dealing with adversity, negotiations, and settlement agreements.

A final mock mediation provided participants with an opportunity to practice skills and receive feedback from instructors along the way.
