Earning Criteria
- Attend the required 4.5 hour onsite executive workshop, including completion of all hands-on activities to gain an understanding of EDT concepts, Universal Experience Framework, and Team Essentials. Through completion of this workshop, earners will understand the applicability of the material and must demonstrate advanced proficiency in the following topics:
- Design Research - Strengthen relationships with clients through finding and developing Enterprise Design Thinking Sponsor Users.
- Collaboration - Learn effective techniques for supporting and engaging with teams during milestone Enterprise Design Thinking Playbacks. Increase stakeholder engagement on projects through employment of effective team essential strategies. Engage the right team members with the right skills at the right time.
- Ideation - Assess a team’s Enterprise Design Thinking progress and provide cues for improvement.
- Story Telling - Set expectations for teams to work using Enterprise Design Thinking, the Universal Experiences tool, and Team Essentials framework as a design guide for pervasively excellent customer experiences. Work with teams to identify key clients and users to participate in design sessions. Reuse and distribute Enterprise Design Thinking artifacts made by teams across the organization.
- Scaling - Evangelize the outcomes of successfully applying Enterprise Design Thinking to business users. Promote Enterprise Design Thinking badges to upskill teams. Partner with Enterprise Design Thinking Leaders to ensure teams are successfully practicing design thinking.
- Prototyping - Sponsor projects that deliver great user experiences.
- Synthesis - Reflection and alignment on how to integrate learned activities with the team.
- Scoping - Identify and scope user-centered projects or initiatives for success.
