The Certified GSS Sales Coaches are experienced sales professionals who support new sellers by: Creating a realistic client (or manager) character for practice client meetings; Assessing seller performance; Providing vital feedback and mentoring after practice client meetings; Providing coaching and guidance by leading 'In Depth' sessions. The role of the Sales Coach is the cornerstone of GSS. Sellers repeatedly report that feedback and assessment from Sales Coaches is invaluable.

Earning Criteria

Must be an IBM Employee.

Participated in at least 3 Global Sales School clusters observing and receiving guidance from experienced Sales Coaches. Existing Coaches are exempted from this requirement if they meet all criteria below.

Completed a minimum of 8 GSS Cluster Assignments including the full set of 8 clusters of a GSS stream.

A minimum of 6 GSS Sales Coach surveys with a overall seller NPS of 8.5 or higher (applicable to LA, NA, EMEA. Clusters surveyed are Drive Client Conversations, Prospect and Identify Opportunities and Deliver Effective Presentations and Demonstrations). If no SAC surveys are conducted in your GEO, or there are too few options to participate in clusters surveyed within a 3 months timeframe an endorsement from the GSS Facilitator will need to be provided as equivalent.
