This certificate validates that the learner has a solid understanding of the systems programmer responsibilities in relation to security, and disaster recovery. They can describe how SDSF can be used to monitor and control system and batch job activity, and how JES2 facilitates workload processing. The earner is also experienced with JCL, being able to perform tasks such as conditional processing, in addition to procedure and symbol creation.
