Earning Criteria

• Must be an employee of IBM
• Provided evidence that the badge earner has defined and deployed network architectures that align with their client's requirements and projected future utilization.  Showed that they have the skills and experience to employ the components and tools required to deploy target network architectures.
• Demonstrated that the badge earner has used network management tools and problem determination techniques to conduct fault analysis, performance management, provisioned networks and maintained the quality of the service and the network integrity. Showed how they applied high availability networking principles, tools and techniques to optimize network performance.
• Provided examples that show the badge earner has advised or supported their clients in network capacity planning, performance analysis and the documented results of that analysis (WAN, LAN, or Client-Server end-to-end).
• Demonstrated that the badge earner has implemented the appropriate security policies and solutions that were necessary to protect their client
• The badge application must be approved by the Subject Matter Expert who conducted the review
