Approved IBM or Industry 'mentors' for senior/capstone projects which are executed through the IBM Cloud Academy are eligible to qualify for this badge by completing the following activities and demonstration of skills:

Ensure code, documentation and artifacts are delivered to the university and IBM based on their respective timelines.

Guide students to prepare presentation to the faculty for completion of the curriculum.

Guide students to complete the Open Project and the Open Table presentation for IBM developerWorks TV channel for (ccode/).

Guide students to incorporate specialized education received at the university into the development of the project.

Guide students on research initiatives and papers to enhance the project or develop new components, helping with future strategic directions.
