Earning Criteria

• You must be an employee of IBM.
• You must be able to solve your client's problems using software solution technologies and methods.
• You must be able to recommend or select tools and approaches that allow your client to migrate to or between software solutions.
• You must be able to make recommendations for future upgrades and maintenance based upon your understanding of your client's current environment.
• You must be able to configure a software solution to optimise the way it performs in your client's environment and make appropriate recommendations to ensure that the solution meets your client's requirements.
• You must understand the recovery and backup aspects of the software solution and be able to make appropriate recommendations that meet your client's requirements. [MANDATORY if working on data base/services solutions]
• You must know the best practices for deployment techniques of the software solution and be able to make appropriate recommendations that meet your client's requirements.
• You must be able to configure the software solution to meet your client's requirements for performance and capacity. [OPTIONAL]
• You must be able to configure and deploy the software solution to meet your client's requirements for availability. [OPTIONAL]
• The badge application must be approved by the Subject Matter Expert who conducted the review.
