Earners of the Advanced Cinematography certification have the ability to accomplish a variety of camera operating techniques including handheld, sticks, gimbal and dolly shots. They have the ability to compose the basic shots and cover the scene to fully be able to support the story. Earners have the ability to negotiate the complex dynamic of a motion picture set including understanding set hierarchy, collaboration, procedural order and benefits of inclusion.

Earning Criteria

Participate successfully on set in a variety of lead roles including camera, lighting and grip departments. Set participation is observed and evaluated by Film and Digital Media Faculty.
