Earners of the Cinematography certification have the skills to produce well exposed, focused, and white balanced videos through application of the rudimentary principles of cinematography. They can accomplish basic lighting setups, including portraits. Earners also have the skills to shape, reflect and control light with industry specific grip tools and techniques. Also, they can build and navigate camera functions for a specific scene.

Earning Criteria

Participate successfully on set in a variety of roles including camera, lighting and grip departments.Set participation is observed and evaluated by Film and Digital Media Faculty.
