Earners of the Student Assistant Editor certification can accomplish a variety of post-production techniques through the use and understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro nonlinear editing software. These techniques include project creation, media management, ingesting media, transcoding media, syncing dailies, organizing footage and audio, assisting editors during post-production with sound effects, graphics, and other elements, prepping and exporting for audio mix, prepping and exporting masters.

Earning Criteria

Work on set to create dailies and working on all elements for the project and follow through to finishing. Set participation is observed and evaluated by Film and Digital Media Faculty.
