The earner of this badge is a leader of professional learning able to support the inquiry of teachers across a network. They are able to effectively develop and maintain relationships, influencing others to take action to improve student learning. Through designing and leading action research projects in their own context and facilitating projects in other schools, they model a contemporary approach to professional learning and enable others to build capacity.

Earning Criteria

Participate in Fellows’ training focusing on leadership, team development, inquiry and adult learning. Attend ‘master class’ events focusing on facilitation and inquiry and share at a showcase event. Design and lead Teacher Inquiry Group meetings.

Curate and post Teacher Inquiry Group support material on ISV's Canvas platform. Collect evidence of Teacher Inquiry Group meetings.

Document evidence of an action research project including meeting specified milestones. Showcase a presentation and/or report of the inquiry.

Complete a formal application to the Teacher Fellows program and interview for a limited number of positions. Obtain a Principal endorsement as part of the selection process.
