Institute for Professional Advancement, Inc. (IPA)

The Institute for Professional Advancement (IPA) is the accrediting body of programs and certifications developed by the Manufacturers’ Representatives Educational Research Foundation (aka MRERF). Programs and certifications include the Certified Professional Manufacturers’ Representative (CPMR) and the Certified Professional Sales Consultant (CPSC). Continuing education, annual alumni dues are required to maintain the CPMR and/or CPSC certification(s) while adhering to IPA's Code of Ethics.
