The course objective is to apply the tools and methods of Six Sigma to effect a tangible performance and/or cost benefit for an organization. The general course topics include business process management; computer applications; Design of experiments (DOE); Design for Six Sigma (DFSS); DMAIIC; Enterprise-wide deployment; Lean enterprise; project management; regression and correlation modeling; statistical methods and sampling; statistical process control; and team processes.

The methods of assessment include a project and examination with a minimum passing score of 80 percent.
