Those with the Beginner Intel® FPGA Designer Developer Competency badge have learned the basics of what an FPGA is and can accomplish, the basics of the language used to make an FPGA design, and how to compile an FPGA design. After taking these courses, a beginner FPGA designer can produce a basic FPGA design and load it to the FPGA. They can explain what all the steps in the FPGA design cycle do. Finally, they know when an FPGA is the correct part to use for their needs.
