Concertmaster
The student concertmaster of the InterHarmony International Music Festival Orchestra is a talented, experienced violinist with advanced musical abilities, emotional maturity, leadership & people skills. This student is responsible for marking scores with appropriate bowings, leading the orchestra in its tuning at the start of rehearsals, serving as a mentor to more inexperienced string players, & often plays a solo. In the conductor’s absence, they communicate his ideas to the entire orchestra.

Those selected to participate in InterHarmony International Music Festival in Europe have the life-changing opportunity to enjoy a spectrum of multidimensional challenges including intensive private lessons taught by renowned Artist Faculty, rehearsals, and chances to perform solo, in chamber groups, in orchestra concerts, and masterclasses.
