Music Theory 101PC
Music Theory is the backbone of musical knowledge. Through the study of theory, musicians expand their insight by writing & identifying notes in treble & bass clefs, major tetrachords, scales, & intervals. They also develop their ear through singing, playing, & recognizing intervals, scales, rhythms, & melodies. Young artists who earn this achievement have also proven that they can identify & write diatonic & chromatic half steps, whole steps, major key signatures, major scales, & intervals.
