Musicologists are scholars who consider the relationship between music & various subjects including geography, aesthetics, neuropsychology. Achievements in musicology are demonstrated by analyzing the musical language as a science through expertise in knowledge of harmony, chord formations & melody, which affect the dynamic qualities of performance. Musicologists spend much of their time on research, teaching at college or graduate level, & authoring articles & books to present their work.
