Original Composition Italy Premiere at Festival
This is awarded to composition students who successfully express themselves through musical writing, resulting in artists performing their original composition at a festival concert in Italy. This requires a combination of performance abilities & intensive knowledge of theory, with a particular focus on harmony, arrangement & music notation. A composer must be creative, organized & able to communicate their ideas to others. Modern composers also need technical knowledge & production skills.
