Earners of the Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designation demonstrate an understanding of pension plans, government-sponsored plans, and management of plan assets. With curriculum and exams developed by the program co-sponsor, Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, designees are prepared to effectively design and manage retirement plans. The RPA is part of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist® (CEBS) credential, offered by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
