Leadership 2016 Council

This certification is awarded to Spring 2016 members of the International House Resident Council. As leaders at I-House, Council members demonstrated intercultural communication, worked within an highly diverse intercultural environment and displayed good judgment and fairness. They engaged in outreach and public speaking, budgeting, collaboration, teamwork and conflict resolution.

Earning Criteria

Attend weekly Resident Council meetings and serve on I-House Board committees. Attend student leadership retreats and training and address concerns as a liaison to resident body, representing I-House resident voice.
Review proposals and award funding for resident-initiated programs. Participate in I-House resident activities. Collaborate with I-House Program Office to execute yearly I-House signature events.
