Level A1 speakers participate in a number of uncomplicated communicative tasks in straightforward survival situations. They can understand simple messages from a pen friend. Novice High writers are able to meet limited basic practical writing needs using lists, short messages, postcards, and simple notes. They can express themselves through practiced material.

Earning Criteria

Complete the blended, teacher-guided Level I study program on basic English to learn how to function in simple, survival language situations that have been practiced throughout the language course. Pass the final course exam with a score of 70. The alternative to the traditional language program is to pass the Level A1 Test with a score of 70 or up.

For every level of successfully completed EFL course work, the graduate receives 10 credits towards an additional iTTi School of English level program.
