Cyber Essentials helps give peace of mind that you’ve put essential security protections in place – and is critical for both reputation and compliance. Jisc offers Cyber Essentials as a service. This course is led by a Cyber Essentials assessor and designed to guide you through the 89 questions and prepare your organisation for certification. Earning Criteria

  • This course consists of one x3.5 hour live online session. Being awarded this digital credential is dependent on the participant fulfilling all the Jisc training course criteria. In doing so this participant has shown they are able to:
  • Highlight the benefits of obtaining Cyber Essentials certification​ to your organisation
  • Apply the 89 questions to your own organisation
  • Identify potential challenges and have a plan to resolve those​
  • Have a road map to Cyber Essentials certification​ planned
  • Have succesfully completed the test questions
  • Have confidence in applying for Cyber Essentials certification​
  • This participant has demonstrated they have met these outcomes by:
  • Taking part in all activities
  • Being fully engaged in interactions
