Their digital lifestyles mean that these situations can occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week and it is often frontline staff who are the first on the scene. The course includes scenarios that relate to difficult emotions, common mental health difficulties and addressing challenging behaviour.

This Managing Emotionally Challenging Situations for Frontline Staff course consists of of a 2x 2 hour live online sessions. This course runs through a series of scenarios allowing delegates to practice and develop their skills in managing emotionally challenging conversations. It provides an opportunity for organisations to identify and share best practices in supporting the emotional wellbeing of their student population.

The course consists of two participative live online sessions with tasks to be completed between each session. They will then have been awarded the Jisc training course completed digital badge and further to this fulfilled the following criteria for this Jisc training course demonstrated digital badge;
