Earning Criteria

Japanese and non-Japanese individuals living and working in Japan who have genuine interest in improving their business skills and learning how to write a business plan.

A bachelor/primary degree from a recognized university. Applicants without a primary degree may be accepted on the basis of their business experience and/or other qualifications.

English fluency, as the program is conducted in English.

Successful completion of the full program—i.e. the lecture and workshop series (9 Saturdays) and the business plan project. The program runs from early November to the end of May.

Work in small teams with diverse nationalities and professional backgrounds.

For the business plan project, conduct research and analysis, and write a comprehensive professional business plan for a real project by a real company.

Oral presentation of the business plan to the JMEC judging panel and to the client.
