ECG Technician Program

The student has learned how to read & interpret ECGs and differentiate cardiac rhythms. They have participated in didactic & practical training and 3 days of clinical experience working 1:1 with ECG Technician staff in performing ECGs in a variety of hospital units. They have learned cardiac anatomy & physiology, accurately interpreting cardiac rhythms, proper placement of electrodes on the chest, patient confidentiality, professional ethics, infection control & equipment maintenance.
