They have learned how to understand and interpret the current IPC and IFGC, minimum requirements for plumbing materials, installation, & design, how the IPC and IFGC books address regulatory codes for plumbing & mechanical applications, the application process for becoming licensed, OSHA regulations, calculating roof drainage area for a building, water sizing requirements, and drain, waste, & vent requirements for residential homes.
