Influential Leadership 2024
Influential Leadership was created on the principal that the ability of a leader to incite action in others can be accomplished through communication, accountability and coaching. This program builds on the current talents. They will combine the tools from this program to communicate effectively with the ability to extend, build, and restore trust. Influential Leadership delivers a powerful learning experience through creating a forum to understand the interdependence of Kaiser Permanente.

Listening Like a Leader; Leaders are often told to ask the right questions and listen well. This program explores strategies to support leaders in putting that into action. Through virtual interactivity tools, this program is an experiential deep dive into how to ask questions, which questions to ask, and how to actively listen in a focused and meaningful way. This program explores the perspective of servant leadership and developing strong collaborative relationships through listening.

Leading with Accountability; A culture where there is weak accountability is one where those who see problems say nothing because they assume that they don’t have the authority to raise a concern. This mindset does not support a Speak up Culture that we are striving to create at Kaiser Permanente. Participants in this class will learn and apply tools for resolving violated expectations and broken commitments.

Mindfulness; Mindfulness is paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, without judgment. FLI participants will learn and experience how to use Mindfulness to relate differently to stress through mindful movement, gratitude, filtering, active listening, and group discussion. This course teaches practical ways to integrate Mindfulness into daily life.

Character Code; In this class, participants will have the opportunity to examine their leadership style using a new model and some new lenses. Examine leadership styles using a new lens. Consider making adjustments to enhance overall leadership effectiveness. Contemplate development of an action plan.
