We are extremely excited that you have decided to participate in the KSU Course Design Academy. The Course Design Academy is designed to facilitate a comprehensive and fun opportunity for faculty and administrators to design a student-centered learning environment supporting both enhanced face-to-face and online course delivery. This course is foundational to earning the KSU Online Teaching Badge. The self-paced course is approximately 4-6 weeks in length.
-
The review process is triggered by a faculty request for consideration. If faculty members deem they are ready for the review process, the Office of Online Education initiates the self-review, and peer review processes with the faculty members. The final phase of this process is a demonstrated teaching and learning session led by the Office of Online Education.
-
To earn the KSU Online Teaching Certification, faculty must submit a fully designed and developed Blackboard course through the three-tiered review process facilitated by the Office of Online Education (OOE). The three tiers include Self-Review, Peer-Review, and a final review by the OOE Team.
