Earners of the Accredited Educator: Level 1 badge have demonstrated mastery of delivering high-quality music and movement classes to children ages 1-2 and their caregivers, and can now offer the Kindermusik® Level 1 curriculum in their studios or teaching spaces. These educators have a deep understanding of how and why music supports whole-child development, and how to help children and caregivers effectively incorporate musical play into their daily routines to boost positive growth.

Earning Criteria

Fully complete the Level 1 course from Kindermusik University, and the Masterful Teaching Modules in the Accreditation Exam Course.
Complete the accreditation application, which includes a video of themselves singing two songs, ensuring they can lead classes a cappella in the appropriate range for young children to process and imitate.
Submit a video teaching a Kindermusik Level 1 class with children ages 1-2 years old, along with their caregivers, for review by the Kindermusik University Training Team.
Pass an assessment of that footage, which must meet The Kindermusik Masterful Teaching Rubric: proficiency in Practice, Process, Presence, Transitions, Benefit Statements, Connection, and Musicality.
