Earners of this badge created a site-to-site virtual private network (VPN) between a private on-premises datacenter and the cloud. They simulated the corporate branch office using a second AWS VPC, installed and configured a software-based VPN gateway running on an EC2 instance. They created a virtual private gateway and customer gateway inside of AWS to configure an IPsec tunnel between the two sites.
