Creating Accessible Course Content

The earner applies Universal Design concepts to the planning and design of online courses, defines accessibility, and applies pertinent Federal, State, and District requirements to the planning and design of online courses. The earner demonstrates the ability to create accessible content in the Learning Management System (LMS), Word, Google docs, PowerPoint, and/or PDF. Earner also captions videos and checks curated resources for accessibility using online tools.

Earning Criteria

Successful completion of a four-week, 40-hour training course demonstrating required skills and a minimum score of 90%. The course is based on the @ONE class titled "Creating Accessible Course Content."
