The badge earner has demonstrated an understanding of HIPAA regulations as it pertains to healthcare. The earner demonstrates the ability to identify and avoid HIPAA violations, and how to respond when a HIPAA violation occurs. Participated in the L.A. Region Healthcare Pathway Foundations & Work Readiness Project which is part of the LAOCRC Regional Strong Workforce Project led by Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.
