Issued by Latino Leadership Institute

Earners of the Ignite badge have an understanding of their Latino identity, external influences, assimilation, acculturation, uniqueness and belonging, as well as identifying microaggressions, lack of representation, and negative stereotypes that influence imposter feelings. They will focus on prioritization, time management, and creative flow and gain an understanding of how to override unwanted thinking and habits through a neuroscience approach.

Earning Criteria

Attend and participate in a one-hour Orientation, and five two-hour sessions. Complete assignments, assessments, and assigned readings. Demonstrate understanding of culture, cultural scripts, identity, decision-making skills, growth mindset, agile leadership, habit formation, impostor syndrome, neuroleadership, VUCA, SCARF. Commit to action rooted in ambition and supported by new attitudes and abilities. Complete all group and partner work assignments
