This course introduces the badge holder to the strategies the United States, its allies and international organizations such as the United Nations, use when combating global terrorism. It discusses the laws or armed conflicts and the effects of the war on terror. It looks at criminal and noncriminal sanctions used to combat terrorism and analyzes the effectiveness of imposing economic sanctions and civil liability on terrorists and terrorist organizations.
