Codesign Product Certification

Codesign Product Certification is open to all companies that complete a research study with Leanlab Education and make product modifications based on user feedback. The purpose of this certification is to assess a company’s ongoing commitment to the values of codesign. Companies must submit evidence in order to assess how their product was, is, and will continue to be designed with, not for, the communities and people their product impacts.

Earning Criteria

  • Leanlab Education provides edtech companies with an Action Plan at the culmination of each study. Action Plan’s consist of recommendations for product improvements provided by teachers and students. In order to receive a Codesign Product Certification, companies must provide evidence they have incorporated, at minimum, 75% of those recommendations.
