The "ESSA IV - Building Evidence Badge" from Leanlab Education is used to denote edtech companies that have met Tier IV of the ESSA tiers of evidence. To qualify for ESSA IV, an edtech company must complete a logic model or theory of change that is based on rigorous research and have a plan or research already underway to study the effects of the edtech tool.
